My business goal is to maximize our brands' values. I work for an multinational company as a marketing manager. There are three main responsibilities to achieve this business goal: Sstrategy creation, Ooperational work with a cross-functional team, and Aattainment investment decisions.

First,a marketing manager needs to create a strategy, such as potential customers, pricing, a product value proposition, and sales channels, in order to maximize mythe company’s profit. We conduct many kinds of market research to make a robust marketing plan. It is also important to listen to the clients and patients voices directly. For instance, we sometimes visit some hospitals to talk with them. After the marketing department has finished the strategy and the marketing plan, the cross-functional team members checked each part related to them.

In addition, we need to persuade the executive team to agree with the plan and make a decision on investment for the project. Executive members always check the strategy and plan strictly and critically because mythe company loses profits if the strategy doesn’t work, and because share holders criticize the executive members who have approved the plan and decided to invest oin ithis. When we get approval from them, we feel exquisitreme pleasure since it takes several years to prepare for the strategy and plan.

Finally, the marketing team leads operational works of the cross-functional departments based on the approved plan. It is important for us to accomplish the tasks in a timely manner and in appropriate budgets. We always use anthe management method, of PDCA (plan–do–check–adjust) to control and improve processes and products continuously.

Therefore, we believe that maximizing products’ values directly contributes to patients because the more the products saelles, the more our product reaches patients.
