Hello, my name is Jacqueline and I'm ina first year psychology student . I bet you're wondering: You're at school so how I can?school? How did that happen? Well, iit goes something like this: In 1994, at the ripe old age of 16, I decidedecided it would be much better to spend my time partying and having kids, so I don'tdidn't go to school. fastFast forward 20 years to 2014 and I find myself enrolling in GED classes. whenWhen I tested in a mathat first grade level firstin math, I knew it was going to be a very long road. onlyOnly 6 weeks later, after much very hard studying, I have achieved my goal and obtained my GED however. I also discovered that I love to learn, so Thethe logical choice would be for the rain todayhigher education, only I just couldn't find anything that grabgrabbed my attention enough to go to school more continue school. I always thought I was meant to be a substanesubstance abuse counslercounselor, but as I was sit onsitting one evening and talking to my 21 year old21-year-old daughter, it hitshit me: I'm not supposed to be a drug counsler butcounselor, I'm supposed to advocate for victims of rapezsrape and show thethem that they can be surviverssurvivors, that they don't have to remain victims, and here is where that lead me. So, that's how I found myself here at CTU. I believe that with the small class load and no testing, there is nothing less than complete success in my future.
