Hello Stephen, I'm going to be your new student. As you probably know, we will have our first lesson on Friday at 10:00 a.m. It'sIt will be my first Skype lesson, so I hope everything goes well. Mrs Vomocilova has just sent the OneDrive link where you'll find materials for every lesson that I will want to go over. Our lessons will be mainly focused on speaking. Not only is it the best way to practice, but, as far as I'm concernedI know, you also practice many skills at the same time (grammar, vocabulary, speaking, pronunciation, etc.). I've just signed up tofor the CAE exam (C1) which I'm supposed to take in June. I can still postpone the date without any additional fees. I've triedtaken plenty of sample CAE testtests, and I usually achieveget 190 points on the Cambridge English scale, which you can find on the internetInternet. I mostmostly struggle with the writing part, mainly because of the time limit. I've paid for a special writing correction service. I'm sending you my corrected essay, with feedback in the attachment. I hope, it will be a good indicator for you when it comes to my English. I do prefer and try to speak in British English which I try to speak. My current aims are: 1. soundsounding more like a native speaker, 2. implementinglearning and using more advanced vocabulary to reach English proficiency (C2).
