I, CPS investigator, Sharrai Benavides, spoke with Mr. Cunningham today. Mr. Cunningham stated that he is Mr. Kettlewell's step-father. He stated that he last saw the family on Father's Day, and stated that his step-son, Mr. Kettlewell, was excited about the birth of the baby. He stated that they talked a lot about how Msr. Kettlewell is trying to be a good father and change his life. Mr. Cunningham stated that the baby looked healthy and good. He stated that between all of the child's grandparents and the baby's parents they have more than enough food. Mr. Cunningham stated that no one in the home uses drugs or alcohol. He has also never noticed any marks or bruises on the baby. If he suspected abuse or neglect, Mr. Cunningham would contact CPS or law enforcement.
