WI was hired as a seasonal sales associate and quickly became a stand out team player assisting fitting room attendants withby organizing clothing racks and clearing overflown dressing rooms between customers. I made myself consistently available to any needs of the managers and any co -workers who required assistance in satisfactorily completing tasks(such as helping clean up a ransacked set of fitting rooms in a section of the store I hadn’t worked in after already clocking out for 20minutes after the store was closed). I made a good impact on customers and regularly met my daily sales goal, then turninged this good fortune into assisting a fellow associate or two with their sales goals. I was routinely in charge of closing and opening registers and dealing with customers who were displaying intense emotions about the rejection of a credit card or the returning of unsatisfactory merchandise. One of the best takeaways, besides the experience of learning how to deal with diverse temperaments and heavy crowds, was when an assisting department manager told me I routinely made her working -day with my ever present smiles.
