I completely agree that listening is often overlooked and many people don’t see the advantages of listening and how much it can help them. Additionally, with all the distractions today, such as social media, it’s very hard for people to stay completely focused during conversations. I also feel like biases and personal views are another reason why many of us today have problems truly listening to each other. A lot of arguments and business disputes today can be traced back to communication breakdowns which are often caused by people not listening to each other effectively.
