Before I took English 1101, I struggled with writing research papers and persuasive essays. I would receive grades lower than an A. The English teachers, that I had before, wouldn'tdidn't give me enough feedback to improve my writing. Dual enrolling in English 1101 was an anxious decision, but I wanted to prove to myself that I cancould write satisfying college essays. I am grateful to have a professor that understandswho understood my writing and giveprovided feedback. I improved and learnlearned a lot of writing skills, but I also improveimproved in other things.

I am glad that I didtook English 1101 online, because I struggle with communicating in a classroom. Responding to classmates' posts have improvedhelped improve my communication skills. Most of my improvements came from my classmates' peer reviews. They helped me fix mistakes that I didn't notice I didI'd made.

I did notice that I need to work on my time management. During this summer semester, I started my assignments on the that day it wasthey were due. It was tough to finish a whole essay in, a couple of hours, so I shouldn't make this a habit.
