When I start attending college in the fall of next year, I will be the first in my family to attend a university. I want to be able to show my younger sister that she CAN do it, regardless of the financial situation. My primary goal for seeking higher education is to pursue a lifelong career in the healthcare field, as a Nurse Practioner,nurse practioner; but also to inspire my younger counterparts so that they can also do it, no matter how hard it may seem. I thrive in educational settings and believe that attending college will be the perfect opportunity for me.

I may not always come out on top when it comes to competing with other students academically, but the one thing that no other person can surpass me onin is passion. The lust for life, education, and a career in the healthcare field is what I believe, makes me worthy of the Courage To Grow Scholarship.
