In order to prepare for math contests, I completed the 3-year high school math coursescourse in only one year. However, it was during this period that I discovered my talent and passion for math. Unlike A-level, Gaokao does not cover advanced math. Nonetheless, I decided to self-study advanced math to broaden my horizons. My only regret is that I was unable to put my best efforts into the math element of Gaokao, due to my mother’s breast cancer.
