The author clearly mentioned in the manuscript that the study was carried out in an episodic event. The author considerconsiders the commencement of the monsoon as an episodic event and the beach profile changes occurringoccur within the short span of time. The berm/bar changes in the beach profile will happenshappen within thea short span of time and hence the author took two-weektwo-weeks of data for this case study. The whole season of the monsoon and its transitionstransition periods are out of the scope of this study. Moreover, collecting monsoon data in the whole season havehas more practical difficulty, because of rough sea and rough weather. Hence, the author useuses data to represent the initial phase of the monsoon.
