Body image and self-esteem can have effects on each other. Most teens care about what they look like constantly, " I'm too short, fat, or skinny". Having a positive or negative self-esteem can affect your mental health and how you behave. People with high self-esteem are more likely to find friends who care about them, they have a higher chance of focusing on their strengths rather there weaknesses.

There are many factors that influence a
personperson's self-esteem. For example, puberty. onceOnce you go through puberty, your body starts changing, people with low self-esteem tend to rely on others to give them acceptance.
