I am emailing you to inform you that I arrived late to work today.

I was a little slow leaving lunch and I had to track down a teacher for some help on an assignment. I got to the parking lot of my internship by 1:03 pm and to my desk at 1:10 pm. I informed my supervisor and I will be staying for 10 minutes after 5:00 pm to complete all of my hours, which he advised me to do.

I will make sure to prioritize my time at school more efficiently and not wait for the last minute to finish things, so I will do better next time.
