The ARP will convert the signal data to digital pulse descriptor words (PDWs) then fusionfuse with navigation data and sendssend the dwell results to Server. Also, creating Intra pulse samples for sampled pulses, controlling all baggage installed LRUs and executing the system calibration and BIT processes.
The ARP is the main LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) of the proposed ELINT/DF system. The LRU is based on a standard VME (Versa Module Europe) bus architecture with state of the art Digital Receiver, high speed hardware, frequency scan mechanism and powerful computers. It provides extremely high sensitivity, fast signal processing, enabling to detectdetection in very short duration signals. The ARP is designed to withstand extremely severe environmental conditions. The ARP is fed by +28 VDC from the PDU. An indication lamp (POWER), located on the ARP front panel, lights up when power is applied to the unit.
