When I hear these lyrics, I am often reminded that I must own my choices, my actions, and my ideas. If I feel that I am not where I need to be, it is because I am lacking somewhere, and I need to do more work. If it is my desire to be debt free, then I must make the conscious decision to stop buying stupid shit, and utilize that money more wisely by paying down debt.

Ultimately, I determine what I wear, where I go, what I spend and what I save. I am the boss of me! My position in this great big world is a direct reflection of me and what I've done. If I truly want to see my family ahead of the game, I have to boss up because no-one else will.
