Sub- Applying for a summer internship program.

RespectedDear Sir/ Ma'am,
Through this, I would like to inform you that I am a student of the B.Sc program in my 3rd semester (Botany major) in Darrang College, Tezpur.
I am keen to be a part of the summer internship provided by your esteemed institute which falls in the month of July. Also, we were personally recommended by our seniors who had been for an internship in your respected institute the previous year. This had spiked my interest to do the same.

I am seeking an internship in the Department of Plant Pathology in your institute. Given that, the plants are theare most crucial and irreplaceable part in our lifelives, I am interested in studying the diseases that the plants suffer and finding more reliable and suitable methods to cure as well as eliminate the root causes of thethese diseases. These diseases not only harm the plant but also hamper the interrelationships between the plants withand other life forms, including us. It is a matter of deep concern and I wholeheartedly wish to study and explore more in this field of botany.

Therefore, I cordially request the Head of the Department of Plant Pathology to grant usme the opportunity to take part in this internship and work under such a renowned institution. Sir, weI will eagerly wait for your reply for which weI shall be thankful to you throughout my entire life.
