We sitsat together to brainstorm solutions to improveimprove the plastic waste problems in our school. We came up with the idea to upcycle single-use plastic bottles into different shapeshapes of dustbins and love shapelove-shape structures. Then we did lots of research online to learn about the process of making them. At the same time, we started to gather single-use plastic bottles from the canteen and community areas. When we havehad enough plastic bottles, we started our project. After finished makingfinishing them, we placeplaced these dustbins in different corners of the school. We also created a photo booth with the love shapelove-shape structures made byfrom single-use plastic bottles. This has become a popular spot in our school for photo shootingtaking photos.
