RE: Malique J. David

As the nurse practitioner of Malique David, I am concerned about the food options he is receiving at Cobb County Detention Center. Mr. David has been a Vegetarian for more than five years, which he was advised to do by myself due to his high blood and severe migraines. According to the Eighth Amendment, minimallyminimal care in prison/jail is required and well-defined.

Mr. David has informed jail officials of his dietary needs, which have yet to be addressed to prevent re occurrence of illness. Mr. David has made efforts to bring his needs to the attention of the facility using the appropriate channels, that is, grievances.

The facility personnel has failed to acknowledge Mr. David’s dietary restrictions. Which, which makes me concerned for my patientspatient’s well-being.
