During this spring semester, POLSProfessor Mahoney has neglected POLS 3339.01 has been neglectedto a degree that cannot be explained or justified by our Professor Dr. Mahoney for far too longthe ordinary difficulties involved in adjusting to online teaching. StudentsMany students have reached out numerousmany times — both to one another as well asand to Dr. Mahoney voicing— to voice concerns regarding due dates, unclear instructions, and the general direction of the class for the remainingwhat remains of the semester. To be clear, these concerns do not come afterarose long before the COVID-19 pandemic but well beforecompelled mass migration to online coursework. As college students, we arehave learned to be understanding and forgiving of adjustments, growing pains, and plainsimple human error. Speaking on behalf of my Peerspeers, we are disappointed with the direction this class has taken. The majorityMost of us are seniors who plan to graduate in Springthe spring or Fallfall of this year, and we are simply trying to stay afloat during these trying times.
