Emma:
“Now
, class, before you are dismissed, I wantedwant to let you know that next week we
have a group project that will be assigned. I am sure that you will like it. One last announcement...” Mrs. Jones jabbered on and on until finally, the bell rang. Everyone rushed to the door
, and as usual, it got crowded. Ava and I waited. This is my second year in high school, and I’ve been friends with Ava since kindergarten. However, they left me when I was just 5five years old. *AA heavy teardrop droppedfell down till my cheek, and then fell onto my hand.* I immediately wiped it off before Ava turned around and noticed.

“You know, I don’t think that next week’s project will be fun. I mean
, considering how
Mrs. Jones always says how it is going to be excellent, but it always turns out to be a trashy project. Like, remember the time we had to
getdo plant prints.prints? I mean, what was that for.for? All we did was take some leaves, paint them, and then stamp it on a piece of paper. She said that we learned a lot from it. I hardly believe that.,” Ava murmured.
“Woah“Whoa, Woahwhoa, Woahwhoa. Hold on, did you just say the word considering?”'considering'?” I said as I acted, acting bewildered. “It’s no big deal, you know”know, Ava said as she rolled her eyes and chuckled.
“By the way, you know the teacher is right there.” I said consciously.
