This research aims to approach critical thinking in the science of theology, throughby extrapolating the conceptual lexicon embodying this type of scientific activity within the axes of the doctrinal lesson, especially since this critical thought has a fundamental role in drafting the articles of verbal sects.
In order to establish a comprehensive approach to the literature on this subject, the study was limited to Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Ash'ari as the Imam of the Sunnis in our contemporary reality, and for the unanimity that he gained about his primacy in the making of nodal criticism, and the extent of his abundant scholarly contributions to Islamic culture in this regard.
