It was the last day of school, and everyone was excited for the beginning of summer in a couple of hours. I was in my last class of the day,. I was so anxious to get school done and start my summer with a sunny vacation. It was about 15 minutes to the release bell, but it felt as if a lifetime had passed. Finally, the bell rang, and all the kids in my class jumped up out of their seats and ran out of the door. It took me a while to walk out of my class, as I was reminiscing on all the good times I had during my school year. It was interesting because I wouldn't think I would have been this emotional on my last day. I finally walked out of school, and I saw my friends waiting for me at the end of the stairwell, they. They all seemed so excited for summer, and they were ready to do something crazy. I was definitely ready for summer, but at the same time, I was thinking about what my next year will be like, and how I will get through it. I’m hoping my summer gets my mind off my next school year, because I’m ready for all the new adventures I will be taking this summer.
