As it was mentioned in Linda’s work, this process of adaptation has in fact a long history back in time with the Victorian period. The Victorian behaviour at a certain point in time was to adapt everything regardless of the direction and by that I am referring to works like the stories of poems, novels, plays, operas, paintings, songs or dances. I have chosen to talk and show the process of adaptation in this manner of putting it also in historical context in order to make things clearer regarding it’s complexity. When we are talking about adaptation, we must understand that medium is a very important concept because of the fact that this process is developing around a certain medium . Rather, it embraces the form of a video game, film or musical. anAn adaptation is always more likely to be understood as being minor and branch, and with insurance never as good as the original.
