I hope you are well! I have two topics for the research paper that I would be interested in writing about. The document said to get topics approved first, so I was hoping I could check with you before I submit them to google classroomGoogle Classroom. My first topic would be women's clothing/ fashion in the gilded ageGilded Age and progressive era. I could talk about how the largesocial class separationdivision affected the clothingfashion. For example, clothing for women living in tenements vs clothing for wealthier women of the time. My other topic of choice is Catherine Furbish, who was an American Botanist. She made a lot of amazing discoveries during the Gilded Age and is a great role model for young women in science. She spent all of her time studying what she loved instead of adhering to social standards. Let me know if you have any questions about either of my topic ideas. I am excited about this paper!
