At the beginning of the movie Back to The Future, George is an embarrassment to everyone and has no self-respect. He does not have a good job and doesn’t make a lot of money. Biff controls George and makes him do his work. Marty is embarrassed by his father and fears he is going to turn out like him. Marty’s family does not get along and they are not happy. All of this changes when George finally stands up to Biff and saves Lorraine. There are an unthinkable amount of effects that can happen, all because of one small cause. George stands up to Biff causing Lorraine to fall in love with him, people to respect him, as well as him becoming successful in the future.
When Marty gets stuck in the past, his existence, as well as his siblings’, are in danger. Lorraine did not fall in love with George until he built up enough courage and saved her. Biff was attacking her in the car and George knocked him out with one punch. He takes Lorraine to the dance and saves her again from another boy trying to take her. They kiss just like they had in the other reality, but this time George is no longer a disappointment. Lorraine falls in love with George, and they get married and have kids, and their future stays the same for the most part.
