Ada Developers Academy is the perfect place for me because it aligns with my core values and is a great fit for my goals. I strongly identify and connect with their mission of serving underrepresented sexual, gender, and racial minorities in the tech industry. This organization’s culture is something I admire. I’d like to pursue continuing education at a place like Ada, which fosters career enhancement and empowerment for underserved women. Not only is it a great program that adequately tackles social justice concerns, but it would also providesprovide me with the opportunity for me to follow a nontraditional path to ain my career in technologythe technology field. As I transition to a career in tech after attending a four-year university studying businessBusiness, taking time off from a full-time job would be unsustainable given my student loan debt. With my placement in Ada, I intend to explore software development as a career and, in exchange, have an impact on the community by creating opportunities for others. Furthermore, it is a wonderful place for me because I am passionate about learning new technologies and software development. As a woman, I could learn in a safe environment without judgment. The wide range of support offered atby Ada that includes, including assistance from TA’sTAs, staff members, and students, is greatly appreciated. The benefits that Ada offers forto women like me are crucial to succeedsucceeding and thrivethriving in the tech industry.

After attending Ada, I want to help and provide support forto the next generation of women and gender-diverse people as they navigate their way into the tech world. I want to become a software developer that hopesand I hope to inspire many other women and gender-diverse folkspeople to enter the tech industry. I will offer advice to people who wish to become future software engineers.
