**Ministry Presentation – Driss Amari**

Dear
friendsFriends,

I was born and raised in the western part of Algeria. It was there, in one of the very first **VCJF** groups, that I came to faith in Christ. Through that vibrant community, I learned the ABCs of the faith, was discipled, and later went through leadership formation. It’s where the Lord started shaping me for His service.

In 2000, I officially began my ministry—humbly—by serving in the kitchen. Then, I became a translator and interpreter for Timothy School. I served on a multicultural team made up of
nearnear-, samesame-, and far-culture workers. Together, we trained emerging leaders and sent them back to serve in their own communities and churches. By God’s grace, we witnessed the birth of many churches and various types of ministries across Algeria.

In 2002, while serving with OM, I moved to **Algiers** to support the local church. A year later, in 2003, my pastor Youssef asked me to go to the airport to meet a visitor and show him around the churches in the country. That moment changed my life.

At the airport, a man approached me and said, “Hello, I’m Hanna.” I froze. I knew that voice. I asked, “Have you ever presented ‘Thru the Bible’ on TWR Radio?” He smiled and said yes. I was overwhelmed—this was the very man whose voice had led me to Christ through
the radio broadcasts I used to listenonce listened to secretlyin secret under my blanket, night after night, Monday to Friday. Meeting him in person was a gift from God. He had cradled my faith from a distance; now he was standing before me.

During his visit to Algeria and Kabylie,
heHanna shared how, after the 9/11 attacks—attacks—which fell on his birthday—he felt deeply discouraged and considered stepping away from ministry. But in prayer, God gave him a fresh conviction: the traditional model of missions needed to shift. The local believers must be equipped to reach their own Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and beyond.

He invited me to join this vision—and in 2005, **Endure International** was born. We served together for 17 years, training leaders, planting churches, and doing our best to establish viable, biblical, and self-supporting churches in every major Algerian city. We became fully convinced
: that **only the Gospel can truly change the Muslim world.**

During that same time, I served on OM Algeria’s board from 2005 to 2021. Then, led by the same passion, I joined **OM MENA**, focusing on leadership development across the region. I began translating and contextualizing OM training
materialmaterials to better equip local leaders in countries like Sudan, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco.

My vision for the next two years is to **mobilize more national leaders from the MENA region**, helping them align with OM’s global vision and reach their nations with the Gospel. I believe firmly that the time has come for leaders from within the Muslim world to rise up and carry the torch of the Great Commission in their own context.

Thank you for your partnership, your prayers, and your continued support. The harvest is plentiful, and the time is now.

**God bless you.**
